🌟Acter is on a mission to amplify the power of civil society, by enabling more secure and effective organizing for activists and movements around the world. To succeed with this mission, we're seeking a dedicated individual to spearhead our community growth efforts and lead our adoption strategy.
As the Community Growth Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in executing our growth strategy and shaping the future of our platform. Your mission? To nurture leads into active users, enhance retention, and amplify advocacy within our community.
As such, your main responsibilities will be:
Guide leads through the onboarding process, ensuring their seamless integration into our app and community. This include running pilots and doing product demo's.
Act as the voice of our users, providing valuable feedback to our product team for continuous improvement.
Enhance user experience through comprehensive documentation, helpful articles, and product enhancements.
Provide prompt support and assistance to users, resolving inquiries and issues efficiently.
Collaborate with our product team to test new features and updates, ensuring they meet user needs and expectations.
Expand our user base by cultivating relationships within the wider ecosystem and activism space.
Elevate Acter's presence in the activism community through strategic communications and partnerships.
Are fearless in reaching out to new contacts and building relationships.
Possess a deep sense of empathy and curiosity, driven by a genuine desire to understand and meet user needs.
Thrive on optimizing processes and making continuous improvements.
Have an entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to experiment and learn from failures.
Can navigate ambiguity and complexity with ease, bringing clarity and direction to your work.
Have experience in community building, user-focused sales, and/or user onboarding.
Are known or well connected in the Activism and/or NGO world
Want to get your hands dirty with online content production (Podcast, Website, Blog)
Are familiar with reaching out to content creators, establishing connections and foster them
Enjoy being part of F/LOSS communities, Matrix or the Matrix Ecosystem
Have previous experience in startups.
Remote first, increasingly async workplace with a lot of autonomy especially what your work day looks like (some overlap with GMT-time for occasional meetings required though)
User-focused product and fast-paced startup-ish attitude towards the work, but for an actually for-good cause of changing the world without any profit motive to taint the vision (we are an worker-driven NGO ourselves)
As part of a small, dedicated team, you have a lot of influence over the strategy overall with a particular amount of freedom in your day-to-day work
Fair cost-of-living-oriented compensation-scheme (above market rate if you reside at a lower-cost-of-living location)
